Product Spotlight: Water Pressure Regulator One of our key offerings is the RVGUARD Water Pressure Regulator, designed to protect your RV's plumbing system from damage caused by high water pressure.
Q&A on Water Pressure Regulator: Q: Can this unit increase the water pressure above the input pressure? A: No, this regulator is for reducing higher pressure. You cannot adjust the water pressure above the pressure of the water source.
Q: Why can't I adjust the water pressure? A: You need to run the water in the RV after hooking up to get the pressure set. Water has to be flowing to make adjustments. Then, if you turn the regulator, you should be able to see the pressure change.
Q: The needle doesn't move when I turn on the water. What can I do? A: If the pressure gauge is stuck and the needle doesn't go back to 0 even when the regulator is not installed, take the gauge off and re-screw it on. Then, try the regulator again. If it still fails to work, contact us for a replacement.
Q: What pressure is it recommended to set it at? A: The correct water pressure for an RV can vary depending on the model and the condition of your RV's plumbing system. Most RV experts recommend never letting the water pressure exceed 60 psi, with an ideal range of 40 to 50 psi for many RVs.
