To cool a liquid-filled 0-15 psi gauge that has gotten hot, you can wrap the gauge case with a wet, cold towel. This will allow the gauge temperature to come down to ambient, ensuring an accurate reading.

Alternatively, you can vent the gauge to equalize the pressure inside the case with the atmospheric pressure. To do this, simply push the vent plug to the side a little. Once the gauge case pressure is equalized, you will have an accurate reading.

The 1.5" direct mount pressure gauge, with a 0-15 PSI range and a 1/8" NPT center back connection, is suitable for measuring pressure on fuel, oil, water, air, and other non-corrosive media not exceeding 15 PSI.

This gauge features an easy-to-use vent plug, which allows you to obtain accurate readings every time. To install the gauge, simply orient it so that the nipple plug is facing up. Once installed, you can cut the nipple on the plug.
