Oil Filled Fuel Pressure Gauge:

This 1-1/2" oil-filled fuel pressure gauge is designed to mount directly on the engine, allowing you to monitor fuel or oil pressure. To install the gauge properly, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the gauge is suitable for a 1/8" NPT connection. If an adapter is necessary, make sure to use one.
2. Mount the regulator with the gauge face positioned vertically, at right angles to the ground, with the Vent Valve situated at the top.
3. Apply Teflon sealing compound to the threads to create a leak-free connection.
4. Carefully install the gauge into the pressure port, taking care not to overtighten.
5. After installation, start the engine and check all connections for any leaks.

To vent the gauge case, gently push back the black band covering the vent valve head and lift it up slightly. DO NOT REMOVE THE VALVE. Once the valve is raised, the gauge case pressure will be equalized to the atmosphere, ensuring accurate pressure readings. Immediately after equalizing the pressure, push the stem back down and replace the black retaining band to reseal the gauge and help retain the valve during vehicle operation.

Please note that this liquid-filled gauge is not intended to be 100% full of liquid. When held vertically, the liquid level may appear to be between 3/4 and 7/8 full.

It is essential to mount the gauge with the face positioned vertically (or as close to 90° to the ground as possible) with the vent on top. This orientation is crucial to prevent the gauge from leaking during venting.
